Continued development of writing and conversation skills; topics include Arabic history, business, and news. Reading of selected texts, emphasizing the Modern Standard Arabic writing system, formal grammar, and culture. Introduction to informal Arabic dialects. Prerequisite: ARAB 221 or instructor’s permission.
