ART 127 - History of Western Art II 5.0 Credits A survey of the visual arts and architecture from the Medieval period to the end of the Baroque/Rococo period in Europe.
Course Objectives Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Effectively apply and discuss specific elements and principles of design in works of Western art dating from fourth century-17th century and specific course discussions. [REASON]
- Effectively describe, discuss, critique and evaluate Western art dating from fourth century-17th century in terms of their technical and artistic characteristics, content aesthetics, and social content. [COMMUNICATE]
- Effectively communicate orally and in writing the characteristics and content of Western art dating from fourth century-17th century. [COMMUNICATE]
