BSTEC 105 - Windows Fundamentals 1.0 to 3.0 Credits Learn Windows terminology, features, and commands that are helpful when using Window-based applications. S/U grade option. Prerequisite: BSTEC 129 or 130 or CIS 100 .
Course Objectives Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate through a mid-course assessment (written and/or lab), knowledge of: a) Basic computer and Windows terminology b) Fundamentals of arranging the desktop (creating program groups) c) Customizing Windows, multitasking, and working with the accessories feature. [REASON]
- Demonstrate through a final course examination (written and/or lab), knowledge of: a) The basics of file manager b) Creating files, directories, and subdirectories; drive specifications c) Windows advanced capabilities. [REASON]
