CONST 165 - Erosion Control

Overview of drainage codes and regulations governing construction job sites intended for builders and inspectors. Impacts of new codes and new technologies. Focus is on acceptable methods for controlling construction site erosion and dewatering.
Course Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Conduct organized observations of erosion control issues at actual job sites. [REASON]
- Collect and analyze data that will be used to prepare a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan. [REASON]
- Identify and select site specific erosion control techniques. [REASON]
