This program trains a student in basic computer networking concepts, wireless network administration, and wireless network security. Students will develop the skills required to install, configure, administer, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot wireless computer networks. These courses are intended to help prepare students for the industry certification exams, Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA), and Certified Wireless Security Professional (CWSP). Credit/Grade Requirements The certificate is awarded upon a student’s completion of 10 credits as outlined. All required credits must be earned at Edmonds Community College. Students are required to maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 in all college-level courses.
