Windows operating system (OS) with emphasis on command line functions. Topics include: OS installation, navigation, and administrative tools.
Prerequisite Completion or concurrent enrollment in CIS 100 or instructor permission is required to take this course.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Determine and execute appropriate beginning and intermediate Windows command line commands, including their proper usage and syntax.
Demonstrate basic operating system and command line concepts.
Use and configure the Windows graphical user interface (GUI).
Perform basic and intermediate Windows OS configurations.
Create and manage basic batch files using basic batch file commands.
