2.0 Credits Provides the student with experience functioning as a dining room manager. Prerequisite CLART 100. Course-level Learning Objectives (CLOs) Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:- Demonstrate basic operations on the POS system.
- Demonstrate basic sanitation and safety in the restaurant industry.
- Apply principles of mise en place for a dining room.
- Market menu items to guests and subordinates.
- Organize and implement daily tasks of dining room manager.
- Organize and implement a hands on demonstration and oral presentation.
- Demonstrate the ability to lead a team.
