WISHA/OSHA regulations for the construction industry and how accidents can be prevented. Focus on enhancing hazard recognition skills and knowledge of safe work practices. Develop work rules, communicate expectations, and make job-site safety inspections.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Identify hazards common to construction job sites.
Identify basic abatement techniques and procedures.
Perform a job hazard analysis and write work rules for inclusion in a site specific Safety Plan.
Use Washington State Safety Standards as a resource for performing all of the above.
