                  EDCAP 95 - College Connections
  5.0 Credits  An introductory course for Edmonds Career Access Program (EdCAP) students beginning their first quarter at Edmonds College. Students will develop a peer support system and explore and identify learning and educational goals. Department advising required. Course-level Learning Objectives (CLOs)  Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:- Implement various methods of decision-making and problem solving skills to increase opportunities for success in diverse settings.
 
- Self-assess abilities, values, skills and interests, learning styles and readiness to learn.
 
- Identify internal and external barriers and difficulties to learning and strategies for overcoming them.
 
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate verbally and through writing as a response to a variety of prompts and questions.
 
- Apply and evaluate classroom learning in settings outside of the academic.
 
- Complete group tasks with other EdCAP students.
 
- Apply a variety of financial literacy skills, including budgeting, financial planning and credit management to real life situations.
