Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Describe, identify, and explain, with examples, important mathematical concepts of interest.
  2. Demonstrate information literacy: understand and critically evaluate material (journal articles, websites, news articles, and other media sources of information) related to topics of interest in math.
