Individualized and small group instruction that includes material review, preparation and practice for the state reading and language arts test. Counts toward HS elective credit.
Prerequisite Departmental advising required.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Analyze and identifytest question formats and grading rubrics for the Reading Test.
Comprehend, analyze and respond to written directions and examples of source material as used in theReading Test.
Work collaboratively in small groups critiquing and discussing reading test examples and student responses.
Review and practice the skills of reading comprehension, inference, and critical response as defined by theReading Test rubric.
