HTESL 22 - Listening and Speaking 2



4.0 - 8.0 Credits
A high beginning ESL speaking and listening course in which students work as a class, in small groups, in pairs, and in the community on a variety of situation-based exercises. Activities include discussions, interviews, speeches, and vocabulary/idiom development. Registration permitted first seven weeks as space is available.
Course-level Learning Objectives (CLOs)
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Become familiar with everyday expressions and basic phrases related to themselves and their surroundings.
  2. Increase comprehension and simplified spoken interactions adapted for beginner learners.
