BUS 164 - Financial Accounting for Credit Managers Maximum of 3.0 possible Credits A basic financial accounting course covering the fundamentals of accounting including journalizing, posting, financial statements, adjustments, and cash funds and flow. Financial recordings will be addressed from a credit management and investor point of view. Prerequisite: BUS 162 and 163 or instructor’s permission. Course Objectives Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Record transactions in a general journal format and to post to a general ledger. [REASON]
- Prepare trial balances and basic financial statements. [REASON]
- Reconcile cash and bank accounts and compute cash flows. [REASON]
