STUDENT PROGRESS SYSTEM – Academic and Student Services Intervention
|
|
Edmonds College is committed to student success! The college has developed an early alert progress system to provide additional support to students. Throughout each quarter, instructors can report students who need to make satisfactory academic progress and/or who are not attending class on a regular basis. Students reported will be notified of their instructor’s concerns by a letter and/or a phone call from Student Services personnel offering the resources and support they need to succeed academically and personally. Instructors can provide any pertinent information about a student’s academic performance. Since instructors may report on students throughout the quarter, students can expect to be contacted more than once if academic difficulties persist. Reports submitted will not go on a student’s academic records. Instructors may also provide satisfactory updates for students who are involved in certain support programs. For more information, you can find us at Student Financial Services.
