The eight Executive Officers of the Associated Students of Edmonds College (ASEC) serve as the official “voice of the student body.” They promote and oversee student programs and services funded by student fees. They represent students’ views and concerns to the Board of Trustees, administrators, faculty, staff, and state legislators.
Your involvement in the Association is important, and there are many opportunities to serve on college and Association committees. For example, the Services and Activities Fee Budget Committee, Campus Green Fund, and Technology Investment Management Committee allocate funding in excess of 3 million dollars!
The ASEC acts on student issues, and students are encouraged to those voice concerns in person or by email. Officers maintain regular business hours and are available to meet with students. All Executive Board meetings are open to students and the public. Dates and times are posted on the student government website; email us at studentgovernment@edmonds.edu.
