Student Support Services - BFET (Basic Food Employment Training Program)

Basic Food Employment & Training (BFET) Program is for students receiving Federal Basic Food benefits. BFET helps students access training and education to assist Basic Food clients in attaining a living wage career. TANF (cash recipients) are not BFET eligible. BFET can provide eligible students with funding support for tuition, books, supplies, childcare, transportation, and emergency bills. BFET program supports all certificates and non-transfer two-year degrees. BFET can provide a Basic Food Referral to DSHS for eligible students if needed.

To apply for BFET, please, pick up an application in the BFET office at Gateway Hall, RM 106, OR download an application at www.edmonds.edu/BFET.

You can call 425.640.1727 for additional information.
