The Worker Retraining Program provides assistance to anyone who is currently collecting unemployment or has recently (within the last 48 months) exhausted unemployment or is facing a layoff. Displaced homemakers, self-employed but now unemployed, and those vulnerable to layoff may also be eligible.
We offer tuition and textbook assistance, priority registration, career counseling, and job search support. We also have an Employment Security Representative to assist you with unemployment insurance questions and paperwork.
