Student Support Services-Center for Student Engagement & Leadership (CSEL) Student Activities Board

Research has shown that involved students have a better chance of reaching their academic and personal goals. Supported by the Services and Activities (S&A) Fee collected from every student’s tuition, the Center for Student Engagement & Leadership (CSEL) provides events, lectures, service learning activities, concerts, clubs, multicultural programs, leadership opportunities, and more.

The Student Activities Board (SAB) aims to provide educational, cultural, recreational, and social learning opportunities to enhance campus community and student success in college-wide initiatives. The mission is to build a campus community through a diverse spectrum of extra-curricular and co-curricular programs that will contribute to campus life by promoting interactive and intercultural experiences. CSEL hires students to serve on the Student Activities Board to plan and implement events and activities, assist various campus departments, publicize events, and support student clubs on campus.

Examples of events and activities that the Student Activities Board has coordinated are Welcome Back Events, Halloween Activities, International Night, Triton Field Day, Quarterly Student Organization Fairs, Triton Talk Lecture Series, and De-Stress Days. Visit our CSEL Programs & Activities website for more information.
