English Language Acquisition (ABE/ELA)

English Language Acquisition (ELA) classes for non-native English-Speaking immigrants and citizens focus on using English in everyday life, on the job, and in the community. Six classes, from beginning to advanced, are offered day and evening. Computer and language labs are available for additional practice.

Courses to explore career and community resources are offered, as well as college preparatory classes for professional-technical programs such as Allied Health Education. Please call for an ESL advising appointment.

Adult Basic Education / HS21+/ GED®/AHS

Adult Basic Education (ABE) classes are offered at low-cost tuition to students who wish to earn a high school diploma or prepare for the GED® tests. Students who need to develop basic skills in reading, writing, spelling, vocabulary, grammar, and math may take courses to increase their skills for college-level classes.
